Prices and payment

• All prices are in South African rand. Euro and dollar figures are indicative only.
• 30% deposit when you accept the plan in writing. It is non-refundable inside 30 days, except for weather force majeure that we cause.
• 70% balance 30 days before the first touring day. 14 days before if the total is under R20,000.
• The Personalised planning fee is due before the detailed draft. 50% of that fee is credited if you book within 14 days.
• PayFast: Default card payment online (international Visa and Mastercard).
• Yoco: Online, and useful in person later.
• Wise Business: EUR, USD or GBP bank transfer for larger personalised trips.

Cancellation by the guest

• More than 45 days before: Deposit held as credit for 12 months, or an 80% cash refund.
• 15–45 days before: 50% of the total.
• 8–14 days before: 25% of the total.
• 7 days or fewer, or no-show: No refund.
• Weather or a closure: We swap the activity or give credit. No cash refund for a day already used.

Where a partner (lodge, ferry, attraction) has stricter rules, those rules apply and are written into your confirmation.

Insurance, health and safety

Travel insurance with medical cover and trip cancellation is a condition of booking. You buy the policy. You are responsible for your passport, visa and any vaccinations or malaria advice for your route.

Weather and closures

Table Mountain, ferries and outdoor activities can close at short notice. We swap the activity or hold the value as credit. We do not refund a day you already travelled.

Itinerary-only plans

The fee is non-refundable once the plan is delivered. Half of the fee is credited if you book a guided package within 30 days.
